La Center's Lauren Baker and Marissa Moore have Castle Rock's Kelsey Bishop in a double team late in the 4th quarter. It took a major come back in the 4th quarter, but La Center came out on top in yet another rematch between the Wildcats and Castle Rock in the SWWA 1A Tournament on Saturday night. The Lady Rockets jumped out to as much as an 8 point lead in the 3rd, but La Center fought back in the 4th quarter for a 54-50 victory.
The Wildcats had three players, Katrina Chamberlain (20), Marissa Moore (13) and Lauren Baker (11) in double figures. Baker made 4-6 free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
Castle Rock’s Kelsey Bishop (#23) handles the ball while Lauren Baker covers. Lacey Seidl scored 12 points for the Rockets while Kayleigh Klingberg added 10.
Castle Rock ended their season at 12-7.
La Center will face Ilwaco on February 26th for a shot at the WIAA State Tournament.
